About Rockpress.net:

I started this webzine as a place to publish my photos, concert reviews, interviews and CD reviews, many of which wouldn't otherwise see the light of day in the newspapers I write for. So, I designed the site and asked a few friends to help me out with the content. I am always looking for random submissions, writers, photographers, so if you feel like submitting something for the site, feel free to e-mail it on over.

Also, this site would never be possible without the help of the many publicists and record labels that have given me the opportunity to interview and review their bands. Thank you!

And lastly, thank you to all of the amazing bands who have provided the soundtrack for my life. Your music has truly inspired me. I am forever grateful.

I'm a music geek. I think people that download music or burn CDs are lazy and bastardizing a good thing. Take the time to be brave and go buy good music, even if you can only buy one CD a month. If that is the case, then make that CD your everything and put some GOD DAMN heart into it. Downloading/burning is not taking just money from the labels or artists, it's taking away a chance to continue writing good music and it's killing the mom and pop record stores that care about music. Keep doing it and watch, we fill fuck up a perfectly good thing and have to rely on Best Buys/Mediaplays and the bullshit stores in a mall for our music. No way those folks are car-less souls that look at working in a record store as a job that does not ask "Do you want fries with that?" Eat a dick you heartless bastards, go independent, go to shows, buy from the bands, buy from the small indie shops and let's bring back good record stores.
